I purchased this car in 1982 from a small Aston Martin shop in Stratford opon Avon.

I was in the UK to purchase a SC 1 Rolls. I looked at a few then I drove one. What a disappointment. They drive like a worn out Camper. No Rolls for me.

We got into a rental car and went for an aimless drive and ended at a B&B in Stratford. I spotted the DB6 for sale and was told it was owned by a barrister in town.

At that time I knew Zero about Aston Martins. it was silver birch with red leather and had 56,000 miles on the clock. It was in very good condition and every thing worked, The power windows, power antenna, radio lights, everything.

Well 26 years later everything still works and it now shows 62,000 miles. A few years ago it was time for a re spray.  The car was striped and we counted over 30 coats of lacquer it had on it.  I guess that's the way the factory did it. From bare metal it got 31 coats of primer, block sanded between then base coat- clear coat of Vanquish Sky grey.

As for the leather. We took apart a seat and found some leather that has never seen the light of day and matched the color exactly. The interior is exactly as the factory did it, even to the point of the hand stitching. The soft top is original. New head liner, carpet and rubber seals.

The engine and drive line has needed nothing except for the constant fiddling with the SU,s The compression in each cylinder is 200 psi + - %5.

At the festival of speed car show in St Petersburg Fl i was offered $150,000 from (a famous person). He has a silver Vanquish.

I have owned this car 24 years. Last year it got a bare metal paint job, new leather and rubber trim.   It looks better than new and is winning concours events. I want it to go to an Aston loving home.   I feel that $150,000.00 USD (FIRM) is a fair price for this near perfect example of the DB6 in today's market.

Natchitoches pronounced Nack A Tish don't ask me why, it's a Cajun thing

On the lighter side:

I made this Morgan about 15 years ago out of .030 Aluminum.  It is 1/4 scale of a 1965 Plus 4.  I measured a Morgan every way you can think of and divided all measurements in half. Half on a half is 1/4th.

The body has a Oak frame, fenders and nose were made on my English wheel and all body panels were hand pounded. The only thing that was "farmed out " was the louvers. That was done in a hot rod shop. Mini Mog is powered by a 49cc scooter motor and all the lights work along turn signals, etc. And of course its RHD.

I am asking $5000 That pays me about $2 an hour for the time i spent making it.
