Would like to put a trailer up for sale. Not just any trailer though, this one belonged to former VSCCA member
Ali Lugo. Some members might remember that his mother, who was quite a good artist, actually painted a vintage race
scene onto the sidewalls and on a sheet of canvas that swings across the middle of the trailer to provide an excellent spot for showcasing a
vintage racer…with the race scene wrapping all around it. The trailer was purchased new by Ali in 1996 and used very little by him before
his all too early passing.
We purchased it from his estate and used it for several years for a vintage race team which has long since disbanded.
As a result, it has been used very little by us these past 4 years. We started to refurbish it, but it's much more trailer
than we need and so we decided to sell it and just use our smaller trailers instead. It is a 32 foot tag trailer, with large
side door and rear door with beavertail ramp. It has an immense yellow and white canopy that affixes to the right side which is about
30' X 20" which comes with all poles, etc. There is an exterior ladder up to the roof where there is a low rack, which we never used
but could easily be set up for a viewing stand. It has a small window on the left side, two roof vents and a workbench up forward.
It has a new heavy duty hitch, we just put on and comes with a new electric tongue jack up front with marine battery/box also mounted on the tongue.
Trailer has three heavy duty axles of 7,000 lb capacity each and is rated for 17,000 GVW. Wheels are all alloys and rubber is good.
She needs some tlc, having not been used for a while but is still in good shape. We've already removed all the old signage but it needs to be
buffed out to remove all vestiges of where the vinyl stickers were. It has easily carried two racecars, tons of spares, seating, tables and pit
vehicles all around the northeast and handled it all with aplomb. It would be nice to see it go to someone in the club who could appreciate its'
history and would be willing to put a little elbow grease into making her a great home for their cars.

As a point of interest and additional value, there's a small racing poster Ali's Mom painted on a fence on the vintage race scene
where numerous famous racers have autographed while the trailer was parked at various vintage festivals, drivers like Brian Redmond,
E. Forbes Robinson, Skip Barber, Murray Smith, John Fitch among them which adds to the charm, not to mention the value of the trailer.
