Ultimate British sporting twin This is a first year Triumph Daytona 500. It has matching frame and engine numbers and all its original bits. The engine was blueprinted and dynamically balanced to produce an even 40 HP and is fitted with an electronic ignition setup (the original points and rectifier are included and can be retro fitted). Paint on tank and fenders were redone to exact factory specs and colors by Don Hutchinson's Triumph. All rubber is new as are chain and cables. I only used English OEM parts even has owner's manual and tools. It has a book of receipts and dyno report documenting work. Also included are factory parts books and workshop manual and copy of Cycle world magazine when bike was first reviewed.
Starts in one or two kicks and you will not find a faster or smoother Triumph 500. Tracks straight and all lights and instruments are rebuilt too. Even with all this work the patina of an original bike has been maintained.
